The Next Escape: Travel, Arts, Sports and Lifestyle chronicles our experiences from our travels, the events that we attend and participate in and the issues that we care about. You may have noticed that some of the photos are small, grainy and old. This is because we started traveling when we did not even have a proper camera so we had to make do with phone cameras and regular P&S. There's still a handful of destinations that we've been to that we haven't had the chance to take photos at all. We started out in 2009 with our successful Philippine tourism pages on Facebook and Twitter where we were able to promote the country and transform perceptions through carefully vetted viral, unpaid and truly organic content.
While we have done the Philippine tourism project anonymously since 2009 (save for select friends and family who knew about the project), we felt it was time to take things a notch higher and make our works public and extend them globally to reflect our interests and take control of our personal brand.
We are not afraid to make a stand and we believe that staying succinct and honest is the best way to strengthen relationships and reputation. These pages were designed to deliver that simple, reliable and trustworthy personal brand that we carry on with ourselves, with people and projects we work with and issues that we are passionate about.
